Third-rankedAl Wehdat (7-7) used its home court advantage to challenge second ranked Al Faisaly (13-1) in Amman. The visitors managed to secure only three-point victory 93-90 . However their fans expected easier game. Al Faisaly players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. American-Palestinian guard Brian Halums (196-1997, college: UAFS, agency: The Crew A.M.) scored 33 points (!!!), 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and the former international guard Abdullah Olajuwon (195-2004) chipped in 15 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. The former international guard Ashraf Alhendi (190-1995) responded with 24 points and 7 rebounds and international guard Ahmad Hassooneh (185-1996) scored 17 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Five Al Faisaly and four Al Wehdat players scored in double figures. Al Faisaly keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Amman United. Al Wehdat at the other side dropped to the fourth place with seven games lost.
