There was a surprise result when seventh rankedAl Jalil (2-3) beat on the road 3rd placed Al Jubaiha (3-2) 80-70 on Friday. Al Jalil dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Al Jubaiha 's 26. American forward Jace Hogan (198-1996, college: Jacksonville) nailed a double-double by scoring 39 points (!!!), 22 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals for the winning side and Ahmad Barbari accounted for 18 points and 10 assists. Hogan is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. came up with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 15 rebounds and Nabeel Abu Shreikh added 9 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for Al Jubaiha in the defeat. Al Jalil moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Al Wehdat and Al Iglizia. Loser Al Jubaiha keeps the third position with two games lost.
