Rather expected game when 7th rankedWatts (12-48) were smashed by fifth ranked Big Bulls (16-44) in Iwate 80-56 on Sunday. Iwate made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Aomori W. 's players. The winners were led by American forward Noah Gurley (203-1999, college: Alabama) who scored that evening 14 points and 8 rebounds and forward Rin Yamazaki (194-2001) supported him with 11 points and 7 rebounds. Even a double-double of 23 points and 11 rebounds by American forward Tim Dalger (201-2000, college: St.Louis, agency: Diamond Sports) did not help to save the game for Aomori W. . Guard Beni Misakabo (190-2000) added 8 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Big Bulls have a solid four-game winning streak. Iwate maintains fifth position with 16-44 record. Aomori W. lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 48 games lost.
