Rather predictable result in Mito where ninth rankedAlphas (18-35) beat 11th ranked Robots (15-38) 87-70 on Wednesday. Koshigaya A. looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. New Zealand forward Jordan Ngatai (198-1993, college: BYU-Hawaii) stepped up and scored 26 points (perfect behind the arc making all eight shots !!!) for the winners and Guinean-French Sekou Doumbouya (206-2000) chipped in 18 points and 9 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). Four Alphas players scored in double figures. Guard Hayate Komasawa (188-1998, agency: Slash Sports) responded with 18 points and 4 assists and American forward Robert Franks (205-1996, college: WSU) scored 12 points and 4 steals. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Koshigaya A. maintains ninth place with 18-35 record, which they share with Kyoto H. Ibaraki R. lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with 38 games lost.
