Regular Season Round 55: Aomori W. - Yamagata 77-67

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Aomori where 6th rankedWyverns (12-43) were defeated by seventh ranked Watts (12-43) 77-67 on Saturday. Aomori W. forced 19 Yamagata turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American forward Tim Dalger (201-2000, college: St.Louis, agency: Diamond Sports) fired 25 points and 8 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!) for the winners. His fellow American import Rashard Kelly (203-1995, college: Wichita St.) chipped in 18 points and 9 rebounds. American center Noah Waterman (211-2000, college: Louisville) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and point guard Shinya Murakami (173-1991) added 15 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Four Yamagata players scored in double figures. Wyverns' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Aomori W. moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Iwate and Yamagata. Yamagata lost third consecutive game.
