Not a big story in a game when 12th rankedBrave Thunders (14-37) were outscored by third ranked Thunders (35-16) in Gunma 97-77 on Saturday. Gunma CT outrebounded Kawasaki 34-19 including 22 on the defensive glass. Gunma CT looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Kawasaki 's players. It was an exceptional evening for German Johannes Thiemann (206-1994) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds. American forward Kerry Blackshear Jr (208-1997, college: Florida) accounted for 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Four Thunders players scored in double figures. Hungarian-American Rosco Allen (208-1993, college: Stanford, agency: Pensack Sports) came up with 18 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Shota Tsuyama (180-1996) added 20 points respectively for Kawasaki in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Thunders have an impressive series of eleven victories in a row. Gunma CT moved-up to second place, which they share with Sea Horses M. Loser Brave Thunders keeps the twelfth position with 37 games lost.
