Very expected game in Mito where 11th rankedRobots (15-35) were defeated by third ranked Thunders (34-16) 80-66 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by Gunma CT. Ibaraki R. managed to win second period 20-16 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Thunders looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American forward Kerry Blackshear Jr (208-1997, college: Florida) scored 24 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and German Johannes Thiemann (206-1994) chipped in 11 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. American forward Robert Franks (205-1996, college: WSU) responded with 13 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import Eric Jacobsen (208-1994, college: Arizona St.) scored 12 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Gunma CT have an impressive ten-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Chiba Jets. Loser Robots keeps the eleventh position with 35 games lost.
