There was no surprise in Shiga where 10th rankedLakestars (17-30) were defeated by seventh ranked Ballooners (24-23) 83-77 on Wednesday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Shiga L-Stars won fourth quarter 18-16 . However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great evening for point guard Taiki Sumida (182-1999) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. American power forward Tanner Groves (208-1999, college: Oklahoma) helped adding 15 points and 8 rebounds. American-German power forward Ryan Kriener (208-1998, college: Iowa, agency: Pensack Sports) responded with 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and Greek-American center Zach Auguste (208-1993, college: Notre Dame, agency: Pensack Sports) scored 18 points and 8 rebounds. Lakestars' coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Saga B. maintains seventh place with 24-23 record. Loser Lakestars keep the tenth position with 30 games lost.
