Rather predictable result when eleventh rankedLakestars (16-29) rolled over 13th ranked Grouses (11-34) in Toyama 89-64 on Saturday. Shiga L-Stars dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Grouses 's 34. Greek-American center Zach Auguste (208-1993, college: Notre Dame, agency: Pensack Sports) nailed 32 points and 9 rebounds (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field) for the winning side and American-German power forward Ryan Kriener (208-1998, college: Iowa, agency: Pensack Sports) accounted for 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. French power forward Yannis Morin (208-1993, agency: Slash Sports) came up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and Towa Izumi added 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for Toyama G. in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Shiga L-Stars moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Koshigaya A. Newly promoted Toyama G. keeps the thirteenth position with 34 games lost.
