Fourth-rankedBlowinds (29-21) made lots of trouble for first ranked Brave Warriors (39-11) in Nagano on Saturday. Brave Warriors managed to secure only three-point victory 81-78 . However their fans expected easier game. Shinshu outrebounded Fukui B. 46-34 including 17 on the offensive glass. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was Mike Daum (206-1995, college: S.Dakota St.) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds. Center Wayne Marshall (211-1986, college: Temple) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds. Four Brave Warriors players scored in double figures. Forward Perry Ellis (203-1993, college: Kansas) produced 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and Ryan Kelly (211-1991, college: Duke, agency: Slash Sports) added 24 points respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Shinshu maintains first position with 39-11 record. Fukui B. at the other side keeps the fourth place with 21 games lost.
