Very expected game when 11th ranked Lakestars (14-28) lost to sixth ranked 89ers (25-17) in Shiga 81-87 on Wednesday. Sendai 89ers made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Sendai 89ers outrebounded Shiga L-Stars 47-36 including 17 on the offensive glass. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Sendai 89ers made 7 blocks.
