Very predictable result in Yokkaichi where third rankedBroncos (29-9) edged bottom-ranked Veertien Mie (7-29) 75-72 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was American forward Kennedy Meeks (208-1995, college: UNC, agency: Diamond Sports) who scored 15 points and 8 rebounds. His fellow American import Devin Oliver (203-1992, college: Dayton) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds. Five Broncos players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Spanish center David Doblas (208-1981) who recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds and point guard Yusei Sano (173-2002) added 11 points and 5 assists respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. The victory was the third consecutive win for Broncos . Saitama maintains third place with 29-9 record behind leader Tokushima Gam. Veertien Mie lost their eighth game in a row. They stay dead last with 29 lost games.
