Everything went according to plan in Kanagawa where sixth rankedAlbirex (22-16) beat 10th ranked United (15-21) 82-75 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was guard Pogue Pogue (188-2002) who scored 14 points. point guard Aruma Hamada (178-1997) chipped in 11 points. Albirex's coach Jun Uzawa used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. At the other side the best for losing team was American center Jacob Polakovich (208-2000, college: S.Indiana) who recorded a double-double by scoring 17 points and 15 rebounds and the other American import forward Chehales Tapscott (195-1990, college: Portland St.) added 12 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Niigata A. moved-up to fifth place. Loser United dropped to the eleventh position with 21 games lost.
