Very expected game when 14th rankedShinagawa (8-26) was smashed at home by third ranked Five Arrows (25-7) 80-56 on Saturday. Kagawa dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Shinagawa 's 22. Kagawa forced 19 Shinagawa turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Alex Davis (206-1992, college: Fresno St., agency: Diamond Sports) who led the winners and scored 14 points and 7 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Jacob Lampkin (206-1996, college: Alaska-Anch.) accounted for 16 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winning side. The former international point guard Ryo Tawatari (180-1993, college: Dominican, CA) came up with 20 points and American forward Marius Grazulis (211-2002, college: GVSU, agency: Diamond Sports) added 6 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Shinagawa in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Five Arrows . Kagawa moved-up to second place. Shinagawa lost their seventh game in a row. They keep the fourteenth position with 26 games lost.
