Rather predictable result in Shiga where eighth ranked NeoPhoenix (16-18) defeated 11th ranked Lakestars (11-23) 93-81 on Saturday. San-en NP made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Shiga L-Stars turnovers. San-en NP looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American forward Yante Maten (201-1996, college: Georgia) fired 20 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. The former international point guard Sota Oura (182-1997) chipped in 8 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists. Greek-American center Zach Auguste (208-1993, college: Notre Dame, agency: Pensack Sports) produced a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds and American-German power forward Ryan Kriener (208-1998, college: Iowa, agency: Pensack Sports) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side.
