There was an upset in Niigata where higher rankedAlbirex (19-13) was edged by tenth ranked Samuraiz (11-17) 92-89 on Saturday. Kanazawa looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. New Zealand forward Hyrum Harris (204-1996, college: Umpqua CC) fired a double-double by scoring 16 points, 14 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. point guard Gashu Matsuo (183-2002) chipped in 25 points and 7 rebounds. American Dominique Morrison (198-1989, college: ORU, agency: Haylett Sports) produced 30 points and 9 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and center Mutombo Jean-Pierre (206-2002) added 22 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Kanazawa maintains tenth place with 11-17 record. Loser Albirex keeps the fifth position with 13 games lost.
