Everything went according to plan when eighth rankedSwoops (14-12) outplayed bottom-ranked Veertien Mie (6-20) in Yokkaichi 85-64 on Sunday. Gifu forced 22 Veertien Mie turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. The winners were led by New Zealand forward Daniel Fotu (203-1999, college: SMC) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and Kodai Takahashi (180-1991) supported him with 17 points and 4 assists. Even 10 points and 4 assists by point guard Fuga Aramoto (171-2002) did not help to save the game for Veertien Mie . Guard Yasuyuki Miyazaki (170-1986) added 10 points for lost side. Veertien Mie's coach Masao Kuda gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Gifu moved-up to seventh place. Veertien Mie lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 20 games lost.
