Not a big story in a game when 7th rankedBallooners (15-15) were outscored by fifth ranked Thunders (19-11) in Saga 81-51 on Sunday. Gunma CT outrebounded Saga B. 41-29 including a 33-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Gunma CT looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American guard Terrance Woodbury (203-1987, college: Georgia) notched 26 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and the other American import forward Kerry Blackshear Jr (208-1997, college: Florida) supported him with 10 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Woodbury is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Even 8 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists by American Ryan Luther (206-1995, college: Arizona) did not help to save the game for Saga B. . Cuban guard Reynaldo Garcia (187-1990) added 14 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Gunma CT moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Alvark Tokyo. Loser Ballooners keeps the seventh position with 15 games lost.
