Very expected game when 13th ranked Hannaryz (7-23) was smashed by second ranked Dolphins (23-7) in Kyoto 91-60 on Sunday. Nagoya DD looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American forward Aaron Henry (198-1999, college: Michigan St., agency: Diamond Sports) notched 12 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the effort and the other American import power forward Scott Eatherton (208-1991, college: Northeastern) supported him with 14 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Even a double-double of 15 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists by Italian-American forward Angelo Caloiaro (203-1989, college: USF, agency: Pensack Sports) did not help to save the game for Kyoto H.. The former international forward Yuta Watanabe (206-1994, college: GWU) added 7 points and 5 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Nagoya DD maintains second position with 23-7 record behind leader Nagasaki, which they share with Hokkaido L. Kyoto H. lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth place with 23 games lost. They share the position with Kawasaki. Nagoya DD will meet at home Sea Horses M. (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Kyoto H. will play against Yokohama BC (#7) and hope to secure a win.
