The game between closely ranked teams ended with tenth rankedRobots ' (9-21) road victory over 11th ranked Lakestars (11-19) in Shiga 88-61 on Sunday. Ibaraki R. dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Lakestars ' 20. Ibaraki R. outrebounded Shiga L-Stars 43-27 including a 33-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Ibaraki R. looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American Tyler Cook (206-1997, college: Iowa) notched a double-double by scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the effort and the other American import forward Robert Franks (205-1996, college: WSU) supported him with 17 points and 9 rebounds. Even a double-double of 16 points and 14 rebounds by Greek-American center Zach Auguste (208-1993, college: Notre Dame, agency: Pensack Sports) did not help to save the game for Shiga L-Stars . point guard Daichi Nomoto (183-1998) added 8 points and 6 assists. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Ibaraki R. maintains tenth position with 9-21 record, which they share with Toyama G. and Chiba. Shiga L-Stars lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh place with 19 games lost.
