Not a big story in a game when 12th rankedHannaryz (7-20) was outplayed on the road by third ranked Sapporo (21-6) 96-62 on Saturday. Hokkaido L. dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Hannaryz 's 34. Hokkaido L. looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. It was a great evening for international guard Keisei Tominaga (188-2001, college: Nebraska) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points and 4 assists (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field). American forward John Harrar (205-1999, college: Penn State) helped adding 12 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Sapporo players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Italian-American forward Angelo Caloiaro (203-1989, college: USF, agency: Pensack Sports) with 22 points and American power forward Jordan Heath (208-1991, college: Canisius, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 6 points and 9 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Hokkaido L. moved-up to second place, which they share with Nagoya DD. Loser Hannaryz dropped to the eleventh position with 20 games lost. They share it with Ibaraki R..
