There was no surprise in Kanagawa where 12th rankedBrave Thunders (6-22) were defeated by seventh ranked Ballooners (14-14) 82-73 on Friday. Saga B. made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game, while Kawasaki only scored one point from the stripe. Saga B. forced 19 Kawasaki turnovers. It was a great evening for Cuban guard Reynaldo Garcia (187-1990) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. American David Dudzinski (205-1992, college: Holy Cross) helped adding 16 points and 10 rebounds. Four Ballooners players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Serbian center Dusan Ristic (213-1995, college: Arizona) with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds and Hungarian-American Rosco Allen (208-1993, college: Stanford, agency: Pensack Sports) scored 13 points. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Ballooners . Saga B. maintains seventh place with 14-14 record. Loser Brave Thunders keeps the twelfth position with 22 games lost.
