An interesting game forFujitsu RW (13-7) which hosted in Kawasaki one of their biggest challengers Sunshine R. (11-9). Third ranked Fujitsu RW had an easy win 70-43 . Fujitsu RW held Sunshine R. to an opponent 22.4 percent shooting from the field compared to 41.5 percent accuracy of the winners and made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Fujitsu RW outrebounded Sunshine R. 50-39 including 16 on the offensive glass. Mfon Joshua notched a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and Saki Hayashi supported her with 16 points. Even 6 points and 10 rebounds by the former international point guard Shiori Yasuma (162-1994) did not help to save the game for Sunshine R. . Ririka Okuyama added 7 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Fujitsu RW have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains third position with 13-7 record having four points less than leader Toyota A. Sunshine R. lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with nine games lost.
