Regular Season Round 24: Ibaraki R. - Akita NH 81-70

Date: December 20, 2025
We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when thirteenth ranked Robots (4-20) beat 12th ranked Happinets (4-20) in Mito 81-70 on Saturday. Ibaraki R. made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The winners were led by American Tyler Cook (206-1997, college: Iowa) who scored that evening 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import forward Robert Franks (205-1996, college: WSU) supported him with 22 points. Four Robots players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 15 points and 12 rebounds by Australian power forward Keanu Pinder (210-1995, college: Arizona) did not help to save the game for Akita NH. The other American import forward Dwayne Evans (201-1992, college: St.Louis, agency: Pensack Sports) added 11 points and 4 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Ibaraki R. moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Akita NH. Ibaraki R. will meet at home Akita NH (#13) in the next round. Akita NH will have a break next round.
