Regular Season Round 23: Saga B. - Ryukyu GK 77-102

No shocking result in a game in Saga where fourth ranked Golden Kings (16-7) smashed 9th ranked Ballooners (9-14) 102-77 on Sunday. Ryukyu looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. The game was dominated by American players. It was a great evening for forward Victor Law (201-1995, college: Northwestern, agency: Pensack Sports) who led his team to a victory scoring 13 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Power forward Jack Cooley (206-1991, college: Notre Dame, agency: Pensack Sports) helped adding 13 points and 10 rebounds. Four Golden Kings players scored in double figures. David Dudzinski (205-1992, college: Holy Cross) responded with 22 points and 8 rebounds and power forward Tanner Groves (208-1999, college: Oklahoma) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Ryukyu moved-up to third place, which they share with Sea Horses M. and Gunma CT. Saga B. lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the seventh position with 14 games lost. They share it with 4 other teams. Ryukyu will meet Toyama G. (#13) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Saga B. will play against Yokohama BC (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
