Everything went according to plan in Tokyo where third rankedJets (18-4) outscored 8th ranked SunRockers (8-14) 93-69 on Saturday. Chiba Jets dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to SunRockers 's 24. Chiba Jets looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Sunrockers Sh. 's players. American forward John Mooney (206-1998, college: Notre Dame, agency: Pensack Sports) fired 11 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. The former international forward Yuta Watanabe (206-1994, college: GWU) chipped in 21 points. Four Jets players scored in double figures. American-Qatari forward Donte Grantham (203-1995, college: Clemson) produced 11 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and American forward Andrew Randall (198-1990, college: Temple) added 12 points respectively for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
