Eighth-rankedSunRockers (8-14) were very close to win a game against fourth ranked Thunders (15-7) in Gunma on Wednesday. Thunders managed to secure only two-point victory 94-92 . However their fans expected much easier game. Strangely Sunrockers Sh. outrebounded Gunma CT 38-24 including 18 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a good game for American forward Kerry Blackshear Jr (208-1997, college: Florida) who led his team to a victory with 19 points and 7 rebounds. Yuma Fujii contributed with 14 points and 5 assists for the winners. International forward Josh Hawkinson (208-1995, college: WSU) answered with 27 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and Leo Vendrame added 11 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists in the effort for Sunrockers Sh.Five Gunma CT and four Sunrockers Sh. players scored in double figures. SunRockers' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Gunma CT maintains fourth place with 15-7 record, which they share with Ryukyu. Sunrockers Sh. lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth position with 14 games lost.
