We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 12th rankedRobots (3-15) lost to thirteenth ranked Brave Thunders (3-15) in Kanagawa 74-80 on Sunday. Kawasaki looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Serbian center Dusan Ristic (213-1995, college: Arizona) notched a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and Ryusei Shinoyama supported him with 12 points and 9 assists. Even a double-double of 14 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists by American Eric Jacobsen (208-1994, college: Arizona St.) did not help to save the game for Ibaraki R. . His fellow American import forward Robert Franks (205-1996, college: WSU) added 16 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Kawasaki moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Akita NH and Ibaraki R.
