We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Tokyo where 8th rankedNeoPhoenix (7-10) was defeated by ninth ranked Alphas (7-10) 83-75 on Saturday. American Jarell Martin (208-1994, college: LSU) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and Shun Matsuyama chipped in 18 points (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Four Alphas players scored in double figures. Alphas' coach let to play all 12 players and allowed the starting five to rest. American Eric Jacobsen (208-1994, college: Arizona St.) responded with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and his fellow the other American import import Tyler Cook (206-1997, college: Iowa) scored 19 points. Koshigaya A. moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated San-en NP .
