Everything could happen in Kanagawa at the game between two tied teams. Both twelfth rankedRobots and 13th ranked Brave Thunders had identical 2-14 record. But Brave Thunders were not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Mito 77-72 on Saturday night. Ibaraki R. looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American Eric Jacobsen (208-1994, college: Arizona St.) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 15 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners and his fellow American import Tyler Cook (206-1997, college: Iowa) chipped in 15 points and 9 rebounds. Five Robots players scored in double figures. Serbian center Dusan Ristic (213-1995, college: Arizona) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 17 rebounds and naturalized American Kyle Richardson (200-1991, college: Portland St.) scored 10 points and 6 assists. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Ibaraki R. (3-14) moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Akita NH. Kawasaki lost their seventh game in a row. They keep the thirteenth position with 15 games lost.
