Everything went according to plan in Toyama where fifth rankedMagic (10-6) outscored 13th ranked Grouses (5-11) 115-83 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Shimane SM led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Magic outrebounded Grouses 34-23 including 24 on the defensive glass. Magic shot the lights out from three sinking 19 long-distance shots on high 55.9 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists. Jamaican-American power forward Femi Olujobi (206-1996, college: DePaul, agency: Slash Sports) fired 30 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Australian Nick Kay (206-1992, college: MSU Denver) chipped in a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Five Magic players scored in double figures. Syrian-American guard Trey Kell III (193-1996, college: SDSU, agency: Slash Sports) produced 30 points and 6 assists and the former international power forward Nyika Williams (203-1987, college: Pacific) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Grouses' coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Shimane SM moved-up to third place, which they share with 4 other teams. Newly promoted Toyama G. dropped to the tenth position with 11 games lost. They share it with Kyoto H. and Yokohama BC.
