There was a small surprise when tenth rankedEvessa (6-9) edged 8th ranked Ballooners (6-9) in Saga 83-81 on Sunday. Osaka E. looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Matt Bonds (196-1995, college: St.Michael's) who led the winners and scored 33 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 5 assists. His fellow American import Ryan Luther (206-1995, college: Arizona) accounted for 24 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side. American David Dudzinski (205-1992, college: Holy Cross) came up with 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and power forward Jordan Heath (208-1991, college: Canisius, agency: Octagon Europe) added 20 points respectively for Saga B. in the defeat. Four Saga B. players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Osaka E. moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Saga B. .
