Regular Season Round 10: Gunma CT - Kawasaki BT 79-83

There was a surprise result in Gunma where thirteenth ranked Brave Thunders (2-8) defeated higher ranked Thunders (4-6) 83-79 on Wednesday. Kawasaki made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Hungarian-American Rosco Allen (208-1993, college: Stanford, agency: Pensack Sports) fired 22 points and 9 rebounds (made all of his ten free throws !!!) for the winners. American-Lebanese guard Omar Jamaleddine (193-2000, college: SLC) chipped in 16 points and 4 assists. Brave Thunders' coach used entire bench in such tough game. American forward Kerry Blackshear Jr (208-1997, college: Florida) produced 11 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and international point guard Takuto Nakamura (184-2001, agency: Schafer Sports) added 14 points and 6 assists respectively for lost side. Four Gunma CT players scored in double figures. Kawasaki moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Kyoto H. Gunma CT at the other side dropped to the sixth position with six games lost. They share it with 5 other teams. Kawasaki will meet at home league's leader Nagasaki in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Gunma CT will play against Yokohama BC (#9) and hope to secure a win.
