Everything went according to plan when second ranked Dolphins (8-1) outplayed 6th ranked Chiba (4-5) in Nagoya 98-68 on Sunday. Nagoya DD outrebounded Chiba 41-30 including 26 on the defensive glass. Nagoya DD looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Nagoya DD made 8 blocks. American players dominated the game. Forward Aaron Henry (198-1999, college: Michigan St., agency: Diamond Sports) nailed a double-double by scoring 25 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals for the winning side and power forward Scott Eatherton (208-1991, college: Northeastern) accounted for 10 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Dolphins players scored in double figures. Forward Trey Porter (210-1996, college: Nevada, agency: JCK Sports Group) came up with 13 points and 7 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots) and center Dererk Pardon (203-1996, college: Northwestern) added 9 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Chiba in the defeat.
