The game between Top Four teams took place in Nagano. Second ranked host Brave Warriors (6-1) defeated 4th placed Excellence (2-4) 86-71. Shinshu outrebounded Yokohama 43-29 including 31 on the defensive glass. Shinshu looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American Mike Daum (206-1995, college: S.Dakota St.) fired 25 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. chipped in 17 points and 5 assists. Four Brave Warriors players scored in double figures. American guard Tray Boyd III (193-1998, college: ETSU) produced 24 points and 5 rebounds and the other American import forward Elyjah Williams (201-1998, college: Northwestern) added 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Shinshu keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Kobe S. and Fukushima. Yokohama lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with four games lost. They share the position with Kagoshima. Shinshu will meet Fukuoka R. (#4) on the road in the next round. Yokohama will play against Fukui B. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
