The game had a very big importance for second-rankedGambarous as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Gambarous defeated 4th ranked Five Arrows in Tokushima 75-71 . The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was forward Ryan Logan (200-1994, college: Stonehill) who scored 11 points and 6 assists. Power forward Tavrion Dawson (202-1996, college: CSUN, agency: One Motive Sports) chipped in 15 points. Four Gambarous players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Jacob Lampkin (206-1996, college: Alaska-Anch.) who recorded 12 points and 8 rebounds and forward Alex Davis (206-1992, college: Fresno St., agency: Diamond Sports) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Gambarous (6-0) have an impressive six-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Tokyo. Kagawa at the other side keeps the fourth place with two games lost. They share the position with Saitama and Tachikawa.
