Regular Season Round 4: Yokohama BC - FE Nagoya 88-91

A very close game took place in Yokohama between Fighting Eagles and B-Corsairs. Eighth ranked Fighting Eagles (2-2) got a very close victory on the road over 7th ranked B-Corsairs (2-2). Fighting Eagles managed to escape with a 3-point win 91-88 in the fight for the third place. FE Nagoya dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to B-Corsairs's 34. FE Nagoya outrebounded Yokohama BC 52-36 including a 40-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Jeremy Jones (201-1996, college: Gonzaga) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds and the other American import power forward Sean OMara (208-1995, college: Xavier) who added 14 points and 14 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American power forward Cameron Jackson (203-1996, college: Wofford, agency: Slash Sports) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds and Filipino guard Kiefer Ravena (183-1993) scored 18 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. FE Nagoya moved-up to third place, which they share with 11 other teams including defeated Yokohama BC. FE Nagoya will meet at home Osaka E. (#12) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Yokohama BC will play against Koshigaya A. (#13) and hope to secure a win.
