Regular Season Round 4: Shiga L-Stars - Kyoto H. 92-71

Everything could happen in Shiga at the game between two tied teams. Both thirteenth ranked Lakestars and higher ranked Hannaryz had identical 1-2 record. This time Lakestars used a home court advantage and smashed the opponent from Kyoto 92-71 on Sunday night. Shiga L-Stars looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points, 13 assists and 5 steals and Greek-American center Zach Auguste (208-1993, college: Notre Dame, agency: Pensack Sports) who added 21 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Lakestars players scored in double figures. At the losing side American center Charles Jackson (208-1993, college: Tenn Tech) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and scored 18 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Shiga L-Stars (2-2) moved-up to third place, which they share with 11 other teams. Kyoto H. lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth position with three games lost. They share it with 4 other teams. Shiga L-Stars will meet at home Ryukyu (#6) in the next round. Kyoto H. will play against Hiroshima D. and hope to win that game.
