Regular Season Round 3: Fukui B. - Iwate 84-53

Blowinds used a home court advantage and smashed the opponent from Iwate 84-53 on Saturday night. Fukui B. made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Perry Ellis (203-1993, college: Kansas) who led the winners and scored 14 points and 8 rebounds. His fellow American import Ryan Kelly (211-1991, college: Duke, agency: Slash Sports) accounted for 13 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Four Blowinds players scored in double figures. came up with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 blocks (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and American forward Noah Gurley (203-1999, college: Alabama) added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Iwate in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
