Regular Season Round 3: Nagoya DD - Osaka E. 85-66

Dolphins used a home court advantage and smashed the opponent from Osaka 85-66 on Saturday night. Nagoya DD looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Nagoya DD made 8 blocks. The best player for the winners was American power forward Scott Eatherton (208-1991, college: Northeastern) who had a double-double by scoring 12 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import forward Aaron Henry (198-1999, college: Michigan St., agency: Diamond Sports) chipped in 21 points and 4 assists. Four Dolphins players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Matt Bonds (196-1995, college: St.Michael's) who recorded a double-double by scoring 22 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists and Ukrainian center Volodymyr Gerun (208-1994, college: Portland) added 8 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Dolphins will meet at home Osaka E. (#7) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Evessa will have a break next round.
