Regular Season Round 2: Koshigaya A. - Shimane SM 61-94

Everything went according to plan when Magic outplayed Alphas in Tokyo 94-61 on Sunday. Shimane SM looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. American forward Coty Clarke (201-1992, college: Arkansas, agency: Slash Sports) notched 24 points and 6 rebounds to lead the effort and supported him with 18 points and 6 assists. Five Magic players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 23 points and 13 rebounds by Guinean-French Sekou Doumbouya (206-2000) did not help to save the game for Koshigaya A.. Yuichi Ikeda added 8 points and 5 assists for the hosts. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Magic will meet Tochigi Brex on the road in the next round. Alphas will play against Chiba and hope to win that game.
