There was a minor upset whenThunders were outleveled by SeaHorses in Kariya 98-71 on Sunday. Sea Horses M. looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American forward Jake Layman (206-1994, college: Maryland) notched 27 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import power forward Davante Gardner (203-1991, college: Marquette) supported him with 15 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Four SeaHorses players scored in double figures. SeaHorses' coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 20 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists by American guard Trey McKinney-Jones (198-1990, college: Miami, FL) did not help to save the game for Gunma CT . German Johannes Thiemann (206-1994) added 7 points and 9 rebounds for the guests.
