No shocking result in a game when third rankedThunders (36-20) beat 5th ranked SunRockers (29-27) in Gunma 72-56 on Wednesday. Gunma CT looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The winners were led by American guard Trey McKinney-Jones (198-1990, college: Miami, FL) who scored that evening 21 points and 4 assists and the other American import center Kaleb Tarczewski (212-1993, college: Arizona) supported him with 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Thunders players scored in double figures. Even 9 points and 8 rebounds by American forward Kevin Jones (203-1989, college: WVU) did not help to save the game for Sunrockers Sh. . The former international point guard Leo Vendrame (183-1993) added 9 points and 5 rebounds for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Gunma CT maintains third position with 36-20 record having eight points less than leader Tochigi Brex which they share with defeated Sunrockers Sh. . Loser SunRockers dropped to the third place with 27 games lost. They share the position with Osaka E. and Kyoto H..
