Not a big story in a game in Tokushima where 14th rankedTachikawa (17-35) was defeated by ninth ranked Gambarous (25-27) 69-65 on Saturday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. American power forward Tavrion Dawson (202-1996, college: CSUN, agency: One Motive Sports) scored 17 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and DR Congolese center David Kongolo (206-2002) chipped in 12 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American power forward Andrew Fitzgerald (202-1990, college: Oklahoma, agency: Octagon Europe) with 23 points and Senegalese center Cheikh Mbodj (208-1987, college: Cincinnati) scored 7 points and 14 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Gambarous have an impressive five-game winning streak. Tokushima Gam. moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Yamaguchi. Tachikawa lost eleventh consecutive game. They keep the fourteenth position with 35 games lost.
