There was a minor upset in Kanagawa where 10th rankedShanan Utd (23-29) was defeated by twelfth ranked Broncos (22-30) 78-61 on Saturday. Saitama looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American power forward Ryan Watkins (206-1991, college: Boise St., agency: Slash Sports) had a double-double by scoring 12 points and 14 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Serbian-Montenegrin forward Milko Bjelica (207-1984, agency: BIG) chipped in 11 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Broncos' coach Shugaku Izumi allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was American power forward Justin Keenan (202-1989, college: Ferris St.) with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 15 rebounds and guard Shinya Takagi (187-1997) scored 15 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Saitama maintains twelfth position with 22-30 record. Loser Shanan Utd keeps the tenth place with 29 games lost. They share the position with Shinagawa.
