Eighth-rankedLakestars (7-45) were very close to win a game against sixth ranked Nagasaki (24-29). Nagasaki managed to secure only two-point victory 69-67 . However their fans expected easier game. Nagasaki brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. American Mark Smith (193-1999, college: Kansas St.) stepped up and scored 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and his fellow American import Jarrell Brantley (201-1996, college: Charleston) chipped in 10 points and 11 rebounds. Four Nagasaki players scored in double figures. American power forward Julien Ducree (206-1997, college: Utah Tech) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 19 rebounds and 7 blocks and point guard Daichi Nomoto (183-1998) scored 15 points and 6 rebounds. Lakestars' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Nagasaki maintains sixth place with 24-29 record. Shiga L-Stars lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keep the eighth position with 45 games lost.
