An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Gunma. First rankedSan-en NP faced one of their biggest challengers Thunders . Guests from Hamamatsu (44-7) defeated host Thunders (33-19) 83-77 . Worth to mention a great performance of American-Nigerian swingman David Nwaba (195-1993, college: Cal Poly) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds and the former international point guard Ryusei Sasaki (180-1996) who added 15 points and 7 assists during the contest. Nwaba is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five San-en NP players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Trey McKinney-Jones (198-1990, college: Miami, FL) responded with 17 points and 4 assists and his fellow American import center Kaleb Tarczewski (212-1993, college: Arizona) scored 9 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Thunders' coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. San-en NP have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 44-7 record. Gunma CT lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the second place with 19 games lost. They share the position with Shimane SM.
