There was an upset when higher rankedBroncos (21-27) were outscored by sixteenth ranked Try Hoop (12-40) in Okayama 91-66 on Saturday. The winners were led by New Zealand power forward Samuel Timmins (211-1997, college: Washington) who scored that evening 15 points and 8 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and American guard Kameron Hankerson (196-1998, college: Green Bay, agency: 011 Sports) supported him with 16 points and 5 assists. Four Try Hoop players scored in double figures. Even 6 points and 13 rebounds by Serbian-Montenegrin forward Milko Bjelica (207-1984, agency: BIG) did not help to save the game for Saitama . Point guard Shota Imaike (169-2001) added 14 points for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Okayama maintains sixteenth position with 12-40 record. Saitama lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh place with 27 games lost. They share the position with Shanan Utd.
