There was a surprise result when eighth rankedLakestars (7-39) won against 4th placed Dolphins (25-22) in Nagoya 94-86 on Sunday. Shiga L-Stars looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. It was an exceptional evening for Australian forward Brock Motum (208-1990, college: WSU, agency: Slash Sports) who led the winners and scored 30 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. American Markeith Cummings (198-1988, college: KSU) accounted for 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. The former international swingman Keita Imamura (191-1996) came up with 26 points and 4 assists and American power forward Scott Eatherton (208-1991, college: Northeastern) added 19 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for Nagoya DD in the defeat. Five Nagoya DD players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Newly promoted Shiga L-Stars maintains eighth place with 7-39 record. Nagoya DD lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the third position with 22 games lost. They share it with Sunrockers Sh. and Kyoto H..
