There was a small surprise when seventh rankedB-Corsairs (21-26) won against their close opponent Robots (9-38) in Yokohama 78-61 on Sunday. Yokohama BC forced 21 Ibaraki R. turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was an exceptional evening for French power forward Damien Inglis (206-1995, agency: Octagon Europe) who led the winners and scored 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Estonian center Maik-Kalev Kotsar (210-1996, college: S.Carolina) accounted for 9 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Four B-Corsairs players scored in double figures. American forward Robert Franks (205-1996, college: WSU) came up with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 13 rebounds and the other American import Eric Jacobsen (208-1994, college: Arizona St.) added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Ibaraki R. in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. B-Corsairs have a solid series of three victories in a row. Yokohama BC moved-up to sixth place, which they share with FE Nagoya. Loser Robots keeps the seventh position with 38 games lost. They share it with Sendai 89ers.
